The Hochalpinzentrum Oberwalderhütte
For ski touring:
You can reach the hut from Franz - Josefs- Höhe (2.312m) through the tunnel (Wintertor) over Gamsgrubenweg to the Wasserfallwinkel. Over the southern Bockkarkees to Hochalpinzentrum Oberwalderhut.
In the summer:
Over the Gamsgrubenweg through the open tunnel, you reach the new, well-marked summer trail. The hut is accessible without barely crossing the glacier in about 2.5 hours, for guests with less alpine experience it is also easily accessible.
