Particularly for training courses is the Hochalpinzentrum Oberwalderhut an ideal base. In summer the mountain calls! A variety of tours invite you to explore the mountains around the hut. The Johannisberg, the Bärenköpfe, Hohe Dock, Klockerin, Fuscherkarkopf, Eiswandbichl, Romariswandkopf, Eiskögele, Hohe Riffl
... the possibilities are numerous and varied. (see guide book)
The most interesting and beautiful tours on the northern side of Grossglockner have been newly signposted and protection points are provided. The tour of the Schneewinkelscharte to Romariswandkopf and on to Stüdlhütte facilitates the ascent to the Grossglockner. On Eiswandbichl new bolts are located, for the abseil over the Riffls’ North wall everything is prepered, and on the tour to Fuscharkarkopf via the NW ridge marked with new permanent polts.( primarily interesting for those on training courses)
SEMINARROOM
In the pleasant atmosphere of our cabin, you can concentrate andsit quietly.
Large Seminar Room: For approx.40 people with projector, laptop, whiteboard, screen, pinboard and flip chart! You only need to bring your USB flash drive. There is also the ‘Austria’ and ‘Carinthia’ room for smaller groups.
CATERING:
A varied breakfast from the rich felt buffet (bread, butter, jam, honey, nutella, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, ...) to start the day . Herbert, our chefcook up a three course menu for you in the evening (home cooking) - even for vegetarians!

LIVING AND SLEEPING FACILITIES
The Hochalpinzentrum Oberwalderhut offers double rooms, shared rooms and dormitories with clean sheets and blankets. It is mandatory to use a sleeping bag. Almost every room has views of the Grossglockner .
After a long day before going to a well deserved dinner, you can enjoy the comfort of a warm shower (3 € for 3 minutes).
SPORTSHOP
Glove lost, forgotten carabiner? This problem is solved by Inter Bründl Kaprun: Even in the smallest Alpine Sport Shop mountain sport equpiment can be purchased. New partners of the high alpine centre, the company More Hohensinn, Grivel and BCA.
